As a SENIOR ML ENGINEER you will not merely build another model rather, this is an opportunity to help shape how Machine Learning is actually engineered, deployed and scaled inside an exciting FinTech businesses.
This is also not a role where you'll inherit a perfectly finished ML platform and spend your days keeping the lights on – you'll help build what comes next.
This will involve working at the intersection of Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Data Engineering and Cloud Infrastructure, taking ML beyond experimentation and turning it into robust, scalable systems capable of supporting real financial decision-making.
The interesting challenge here isn't simply: "Can we build a good model?
It is: How do we put it into production? How do we feed it reliable data in real time? How do we scale it? How do we monitor it? How do we know when its behaviour changes? And how do we build ML infrastructure that the wider Data and Engineering teams can rely on?
You'll have genuine influence over the answers.
Working closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Software Engineers, you'll help shape the companys production ML architecture and MLOps capability as the business continues to scale.
You'll work on: Production-grade ML systems, Real-time and event-driven ML pipelines, Cloud-native ML infrastructure, Automated model deployment and CI/CD, Model monitoring and observability, Containerised ML workloads, Infrastructure as Code, High-throughput data processing, and Scalable model serving and inference.
And importantly, you'll help determine how these systems should be designed, rather than simply being handed a specification and told to build it.
THE TECH:
Python, SQL, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Spark/Dataflow/Flink, MLflow/Kubeflow/DVC, CI/CD, GCP/AWS/Azure.
You absolutely don't need every technology on that list. Im much more interested in whether you've solved the underlying engineering problems.
