GROW YOUR TECHNOLOGY CAREER IN SOUTH AFRICA
The right opportunity can change everything.
The best careers aren’t built on luck, but on a few smart moves made at the right time, often before you feel completely ready. The tricky part is knowing which move to make, and when. That’s where we come in, placing technology professionals with ambitious businesses across South Africa and beyond.
WHERE WE HELP
Support for every stage of your career growth.
LIVE JOBS
When you're ready for your next move.
The best opportunities don’t always arrive when you’re looking for them. They tend to find people who have already thought about what they want.
We help you weigh your options clearly, so that when the right move comes along, you are informed and ready to make it.
CAREER DEVELOPMENT
When you want to keep growing.
Careers stay strong when capability keeps pace.
The professionals who remain in demand are the ones who keep building skill and experience, rather than waiting for the market to ask for it.
We help you find the work that stretches you, and puts you alongside people worth learning from.
MARKET & SALARY INSIGHTS
When you know where you stand.
Good career decisions start with a clear view of the market: which skills are in demand, what they are worth, and where the interesting work is moving.
That understanding turns a hopeful guess into an informed choice.
We keep you close to the market, so your decisions are grounded in what is real and what you’re worth.
THE MARKETS WE KNOW
Where careers go to grow.
We work across technology, financial services, consulting and digital transformation, and within them, in the disciplines that tend to decide things: software engineering, cloud and data, AI, project and change delivery, business analysis and cybersecurity.
We know these markets well, which means we know where the good work is, and the reputable companies looking for exceptional people.

OUR PERSPECTIVE
The biggest decisions in a career are often the quietest.
The best moves are not usually about leaving something behind, it’s about moving towards the right work: a problem worth solving, people worth learning from, a place that stretches you rather than just keeps you busy. The people who build the strongest careers tend to choose deliberately, and a little earlier than they have to.
It is also why so many of the best opportunities are filled before they are ever advertised. They go to the people who are known, who have thought about what they want, and who are ready when the right opportunity appears.
Our job is to make sure you are one of them.
WHAT OUR PROFESSIONALS SAY

ACUITY INSIGHTS
Thinking worth reading.

Before you hire for AI, understand what’s missing
Many AI initiatives lose momentum because organisations start with hiring before understanding what’s missing. Use Acuity’s practical framework and free audit to assess your AI capability gaps before investing in people, technology or delivery.

Building AI capability is the leadership challenge nobody is talking about
Technology is becoming easier to buy. Building AI capability remains the challenge. Learn how leaders can close the gap between strategy and execution.

Why senior leadership roles don’t always mean real authority
Before accepting a senior leadership role, understand how decision-making authority, organisational culture and leadership style can impact your success.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Questions we're often asked.
Do you only work on the roles listed on your site?
No. Some of the strongest opportunities never get advertised, because businesses ask us to approach people directly instead. Being on our radar is how you hear about those. Send us the latest version of your CV so we can connect with you when the right role lands.
Can I keep a search confidential from my current employer?
Yes, and many people do. Discretion is a basic condition of working with us. We manage timing, approaches and conversations so that nothing moves faster than what you’re comfortable with.
Which roles and levels do you work across?
Yes, we cover varying levels of seniority across multiple sectors. From early-career specialists through to the leaders shaping what technology does next, across software engineering, data science and analytics, data management, business intelligence, cloud and infrastructure, AI and machine learning, project and programme management, business analysis, testing and quality, and cybersecurity.
Do you work with contractors as well as permanent roles?
Both. Contract work suits professionals who want variety, depth across different environments and often stronger earnings, and many of the specialists we work with have moved between the two over a career. We’ll help you weigh which one fits where you’re heading.
How does contracting work in practice?
Engagements run fixed-term, project-based or rolling, and you can operate through your own company or as an individual. Where required, PAYE administration is handled for you, and contracts are structured to be clear and compliant from the start, so the admin doesn’t become your problem.
What if there's nothing right for me at the moment?
Then we’ll say so. We’d rather be honest and stay in touch than push you toward something that doesn’t move your career forward. Good opportunities are worth waiting for, and we’ll know who to call when one appears.
Will I get feedback if a role doesn't work out?
Yes. Silence after an interview is the most frustrating part of any search, and it’s avoidable. We come back to you either way, with something useful about why.
How do I know what I'm worth?
Good career decisions start with a clear view of the market: which skills are in demand, what they’re paying, and where the interesting work is moving. That understanding turns a hopeful guess into an informed choice. We keep you close to the market, so what you’re asking for is grounded in what’s real.
How do you assess technical ability?
Through structured conversation about real decisions architecture trade-offs, how you debug, how you think about system design rather than abstract tests. It gives a truer picture of how you actually work, and it respects your time.
Are the roles you work on remote, hybrid or in-office?
All three, and it’s one of the first things worth being clear about. Roles that can’t offer some flexibility tend to struggle in this market, so we’ll always be upfront about how a business actually works before you invest time in a process.
