Acuity Consultants are currently seeking a Technical Support Analyst / Support Consultant for a financial systems vendor. In this position you will working closely with clients in the asset management industry, and will be responsible for dealing with complex queries and issues raised by these clients relating to their use of front office systems. Your tasks will include training, support, systems analysis, and technical and functional analysis of problems raised by the client.

In order to be considered for this position you must have previous consulting, business analysis or support desk experience. You must have good knowledge of SQL and UNIX. Programming experience would be highly beneficial. You must have a strong interest in finance and must have a solid understanding of financial instruments such as Equities, Bonds, and Derivatives.
To be considered for the role you must have
• A University degree, or any equivalent IT qualification
• At least 5 years support experience
• At least 1 year experience with Transact SQL
• Knowledge of Windows AND Linux
• Knowledge of Weblogic
knowledge of investment account principles will be advantageous. ITIL certification is highly desirable.
