Based in CAPE TOWN this SENIOR DATA ANALYST (Senior SAS Analyst) role offers a salary of R450K – R550K/annum.

As SENIOR ANALYST (SAS), reporting to the Insight Director, you will add insight into clients’ businesses through analysis of customer data.
You’ll be responsible for day-to-day analysis, project management and resource allocation to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.
The role is client-facing; you’ll interpret client needs into a relevant analysis brief and then provide commercially viable business recommendations to meet the client needs. You will present results and recommendations at client meetings.
Line manage, motivate and develop more junior members of the team.
Contribute to proposals, pitches and new business opportunities.
Advanced user of SAS, SQL and Excel to produce customer insight.
At least 5 years’ relevant experience in Data Analysis.
Experience of working with large customer databases.
A genuine interest in the applications of analysis for business benefit.
Excellent communication and Powerpoint skills.
Ability to work as part of a small, highly motivated team.
Experience of managing/mentoring more junior members of staff.
