Our client is a global software vendor and consultancy that focus on the Capital Markets space. They are currently searching for a candidate with a strong investment banking background OR software sales background to join their team in the role of Sales Manager.
In this position your focus will be driving the growth of the sales pipeline in the Southern African region. Your duties will include prospecting, qualifying and closing sales opportunities. You will liaise with and build strong relationships with chief dealers, traders, and senior financial technology professionals. Cold-calling will be part of your daily activities and you must be comfortable doing this. If required you will receive extensive support and training from a highly knowledgeable team who are some of the major players in their field.
Our client is extremely well established in the South African market place and has an excellent reputation. The role offers an excellent base salary + extremely lucrative commission scheme.
To be considered for this role you must possess the following skills and experience:
-Investment banking experience in Trade Support, Middle Office, or Risk OR experience working in sales for a large software firm
-Good finance knowledge
- Relevant tertiary education
-Driven and motivated personality, comfortable dealing with stakeholders at all levels
