A great opportunity for a BI DEVELOPER to join a leading INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT Company and play a key role in transforming the way data is presented and reported to the business in order to deliver strategic insights for continued growth as well as application development.
Based in CAPE TOWN this BI DEVELOPER / SQL DEVELOPER role offers a salary of R540K – R600K/annum.
This INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT COMPANY is one of the fastest growing Investment Management businesses in South Africa. They currently manage R7bn in Asset Value for clients and their business model has proven to be highly successful in the industry. This is a niche Asset Management business, currently employing 80 people. Culturally they are a modern, progressive business in a great environment.
Working closely with the CTO you will play a key role in in transforming the way data is presented and reported to the business in order to deliver strategic insights for continued growth as well as application development. This will include involvement in data integration, ETL, Reports and further development of Management Dashboards in the business. The role will involve close working with business users and stakeholders across all units in order to understand their data and reporting requirements. You will also analyse current application functionality to assess how effective they are servicing the businesses insight and reporting functions. In time, as a result of extensive business-facing experience that you will gain in this role, you will have prospects of being promoted into a Senior Business Analyst position in the company.
Strong BI Development / SQL Development.
Tableau or QlikView or SSRS.
T-SQL development skills.
ETL and Data Integration skills.
Previous work in financial industry / Pension Fund environment an advantage, but not essential.
